Taylor lived all of her life in Indiana until moving to Haiti in December of 2014. While attending Indiana University and studying Public Health, Taylor found herself in a power yoga class desperately looking for an alternative to the gym. While power yoga was not the yoga for her, she found herself in tears while in pigeon pose for the first time and decided there was something to this practice. At Know Yoga Know Peace in Bloomington, IN Taylor discovered the mental, physical and spiritual healing power of not only the practice of yoga but also the community that forms. Since the first day of her teacher training in 2013, Taylor felt it her mission to share this practice as she continues to learn and grow. Taylor's classes focus on breath and the synchronization of breath and movement to cultivate awareness on and off the yoga mat. I offer many modifications throughout my classes making them accessible to beginners and more advanced practitioners. Taylor also cultivates a daily practice of a more holistic lifestyle by consuming a mostly plant based diet, creating and consuming herbal remedies and reducing her footprint on this planet in as many ways possible.

Hailing from the bright lights of Tokyo, Chloe entered her first ashtanga class 10 years ago while studying in London. Despite tight hamstrings and what felt like the most uncomfortable 90mins of her life, she was instantly fascinated by the quietness, intensity and focus of other practitioners, flowing peacefully and as one. Soon enough, she was hooked with the ashtanga practice, practicing in the studio or at home and dedicating free time to learn from some of the best teachers in the UK, India, Bali and Australia. Although she flirted - sometimes intently - with other styles of yoga, ashtanga always remained her first love: a steady, unchanging practice that always feels like “home”. Chloe completed a 200RYT training course in St Francis Bay, South Africa, has teaching experience in Kampala, Tel Aviv and Geneva. Her style of teaching focuses on a steady flow of breath merged into the dynamic flow of ashtanga asana and she uses adjustments to support students further along in their practice.
